Erin Kljaich, Plainfield Township Assessor
Erin Kljaich has served Plainfield Township as an employee of the Assessor’s Office since 1998 and began her term as Assessor in 2010. She is a Certified Illinois Assessing Official and a high honors graduate of Lewis University. For 12 years Erin has been dedicated to helping taxpayers and advancing the Assessor’s Office. Her most notable accomplishments include computerizing approximately 29,000 properties, initiating the development of the property-search website, updating over two-thirds of the assessment files and creating a taxpayer-friendly environment.

Looking towards the future, Erin is committed to being a leader in the assessment by continually improving and increasing the efficiency of the office, initiating and encouraging cooperation among government offices, supplying current and relevant training to township employees and compassionately providing customer service to residents. She is dedicated to being transparent, accountable and fiscally responsible. She strives daily to provide records, gather and maintain accurate information, develop equitable assessments and educate taxpayers on the assessment process.
